UMR IN YOUR LANGUAGE

The Uniform Meaning Representation (UMR) project welcomes collaboration from researchers who are interested in developing UMR annotations for a diverse range of languages. As a cross-linguistically informed semantic framework, UMR is designed to capture the underlying meaning of texts in a language-neutral yet linguistically grounded way. We invite researchers with expertise in specific languages to contribute by adapting UMR guidelines to their linguistic context, building annotated corpora, or exploring UMR’s applications in multilingual NLP. Participation in the project offers opportunities for collaboration on annotation methodology, tool development, and cross-linguistic semantic analysis. Whether you are working on high-resource or low-resource languages, your contributions will help advance the broader goal of developing interoperable, semantically rich representations across the world's languages.
